You know this is my history. I grew up here, I still call it home. Capac isnt much of a town, it hasnt much to offer. You have to travel miles to shop, no joke! I believe we are the only Hispanic family that kept its roots here. For every holiday when possible my family still gathers at Daddys house. It was always the central location for the Rosas, Sanchez, Garza, Solano, and Barron family to get together, if not it was Grandpa - ma house, they lived right behind us. All the cousins would get together and play, kickball, football, basketball, went to dances together, movies etc. We would fight get angry with each other and still left loving each other. Capac days back in the day were awesome. We went to catacisum (Catholic classes on Wednesday after shool) All the moms would be waiting for all the cousins to get to our house. Now a days they have golf outings to stay connected. Its been an awesome life, even with the loss of loved ones and divorces. I still feel connected to my family even if Im 1600 miles away. My parents left me a legacy of love. I look back and Im so grateful for all their sacrifices. They worked and fought and prayed for our family. Unfortunately, todays familys dont have what I had, not even my own children. We lived many places and they had to experience the pain of divorced parents. I do thank God for ALL of it. My journey isnt over and I have so much to look forward too. Everyday is new and exciting to me, even if I have heartaches, along the way, I choose to stay positive. Ive met some remarkable people along the way that have lifted me up and encouraged me to be more and better. To all of this I can say God has been my Rock! He knows my imperfections and still holds my hand. Life goes on and Im going to live it the best I can. Not just for me but for you too..This is Capac and this is home! ! Ill always be back. . Love you Mucho!
