You know.....we all have different giftings. Paul knew this ...... 1 Corinthians 12 ....... 27 .Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it. 28 .And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages. 29. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all do miracles? 30. Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in other languages? Do all interpret? So....why are those, who are not called to be teachers of the word.....trying to teach it ? I am not an apostle, nor a prophet, nor do I speak in other languages or have the gift of interpretation. That is just a fact......so I never even try to be any of those things. I know the giftings I have. Those who attempt to teach the Word have NO idea of what it is to BE a teacher of the Word....and their every utterance shows it. Yet they persist....and teach things like this: There are 5 places of torment that God uses to torment people in. Satan and Lucifer are not the same personage. Jesus is not God. There is more than one judgement day. The judgement seat of Christ and the great white throne judgement are not the same. The New Jerusalem is figurative, metaphorical, symbolic......it is not a real place. The lake of fire is in the middle of the earth. We can talk to the dead. We have replaced the Jews as Gods chosen people. God has abandoned Israel. There will be a pre or mid tribulation rapture. Jesus did not exist before He was born. There was a pre Adamic race on earth ....before Adam was created. We have a separate soul and spirit. We go to heaven before we are judged. We can be separated from Gods presence. We are immortal. These are just some of the things that are being taught .......and none of them, not one, has any biblical basis. What happened to being a student of scripture ? What happened to listening ? What happened to studying, instead of arguing.....sound scriptures that use very specific language ? Why are words ignored and dismissed....words that God used , to make clear what He is saying ? Does eternal destruction actually mean something else ? NO ! Does eternal death mean eternal life ...ever......? NO. God uses these very words......yet many insist they do not mean what they appear to mean. When does death EVER mean life ? When does destruction EVER mean life ? Time to start reading Gods Word and stop listening to lies. The first lie EVER told was when satan told Eve that she and Adam could be just like God....that they will never die....that they are immortal. That SAME lie is being told today....even though God says this ....... Ezekiel 18: 3-5 …3.As I live, declares the Lord GOD, you are surely not going to use this proverb in Israel anymore. 4.Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die. 5.But if a man is righteous and practices justice and righteousness,… Notice verse 4:........ The soul WHO sins will die. The soul spoken of is a person. We ARE souls....we do not have a separate soul....... Genesis 2:7 ► Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living soul. Some versions say living creature ...... some say living . being .......they are one and the same....a living breathing soul, which is why God said in verse 4 of Ezekiel 18 that the soul WHO sins shall die. This is a prime example of NOT reading the entire Word....to find the truth....to find out exactly what God is saying .....and this gives rise to false teachings like the one that says we have a separate soul. HOW clear is Gods Word ? Crystal....when read IN context and combined with EVERY scripture, from BOTH Testaments on any subject. Always remember....there are those who have done exactly that....and so they CAN and DO recognise those.....who havent. It really is that simple. Read and study. Read and study. Read and study.
