You know we love this stuff...we were honored once again to be able to assist a veteran in need - the ladies of Unmistaken Stars Farm Sanctuary, Home of Sirius Services asked if we might have a new dog for training and of course we said yes and we found them a beauty. Arlo who went into training last year has excelled and is with his new dad and they are a bonded pair now. [sigh] Tanker came to PNE from Passion for Pooches in Texarkana Tx. He went to Andria and the crew at the Sanctuary to be evaluated for training this past weekend and so far hes a ROCK STAR! Andria sent this update today - Tanker has been very busy learning all the joys of puppy-hood, the comforts of living in a home and the sights, sounds and smells of the big wide world! He has already shown great potential in his clicker training where he is learning basic obedience, the foundation of his advanced cues that will later serve his partner, and team building games with wobble discs and skateboards! While much remains to be seen as Tanker matures, our hope is for him to serve as a PTSD Service Dog for a Veteran. His former home did not give him the life he deserved but they surely gave him a fitting name!
