You know what A Quick Post before people become incoherent or are it too late? Some people are proud of themselves for donating their shares. It says in the Bible simply starts off wrong when Christians are unrealistic about the Bible itself. The Bible not only has parts that are clear, inspiring, rational, and intelligent, but it also has parts that are confusing, paradoxical, messy, and crude. Christians should admit that. I think most of the difficulties can be resolved by knowing misunderstanding or downright ignorance. Not everyone has this problem can be explained. There are some between one and another and the outside world. And while I think it is wrong to play favoritism Christians should be honest and admit too there problem. For instance Matthew 10:10 for laborers deserve the food, Mark 6:8 ordered no one to take nothing. People shouldn’t play favoritism, people shouldn’t feel proud of themselves being able to go through stuff before anyone else, and they take the good stuff and the heck with everyone else. Romans 12:13-21 Share your belongings with your needy fellow Christ, and open your homes to strangers. Ask God to bless those who persecute you - yes, ask him to bless, not to curse. Be happy with those who are happy, weep with those who weep. Have the same concern for everyone. Do not be proud, but accept humble duties. Do not think of yourselves as wise. If someone has done you wrong, do not repay him with a wrong. Try to do what everyone considers to be good. Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody. Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let Gods anger do it. For the scripture says, I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord. Instead, as the scripture says: If your enemies are hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them a drink; for by doing this you will make them burn with shame. Do not let evil defeat you; instead, conquer evil with good. What does the Bible say about favoritism? Favoritism is partiality or bias. To show favoritism is to give preference to one person over others with equal claims. It is similar to discrimination and may be based on conditions such as social class, wealth, clothing, actions, etc. The Bible is clear that favoritism is not God’s will for our lives. First, favoritism is incongruent with God’s character: “God does not show favoritism” (Romans 2:11). All are equal before Him. Ephesians 6:9 says, “There is no favoritism with him.” Colossians 3:25 teaches God’s fairness in judgment: “Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.” Second, the Bible teaches Christians are not to show favoritism: “My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism” (James 2:1). The context concerns the treatment of rich and poor in the church. James points out that treating someone differently based on his financial status or how he is dressed is wrong. The Old Testament provides similar instruction regarding favoritism. Leviticus 19:15 teaches, “Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.” Exodus 23:3 likewise commands, “Do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.” Justice should be blind, and both rich and poor should be treated equally before the law. Third, the Bible calls favoritism sin: “If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself,’ you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers” (James 2:8-9). Favoritism is a serious offense against God’s call to love one’s neighbor as oneself Fourth, church leaders are especially charged not to show favoritism. Paul commanded Timothy, a young church leader, “I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism” (1 Timothy 5:21). Fifth, it is difficult to avoid showing favoritism. Even Christ’s closest followers struggled with bias against people different from them. When the apostle Peter was first called to minister to non-Jewish people, he was reluctant. He later admitted, “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right” (Acts 11:34). The fact that James specifically addresses the sin of favoritism implies that this was a common problem within the early church. Favoritism is a problem we still deal with. Favoritism and partiality are not from God, and Christians are called to love. As humans, we tend to form judgments based on selfish, personal criteria rather than seeing others as God sees them. May we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and follow His example of treating every person with God’s love (John 3:16). People should stop and ask the Lord, help Change My Attitude Before its Too Late. But as of late people say there Christians, they help the needy. How are you a Christian when you’re just thinking of yourselves and not of others? That’s all you’re doing. I should be done donating or giving. You people are so lucky, you don’t know how lucky you’s are. You have a ruff over your head, a heat because it so cold, a home to sleep in cause you’re not homeless, food in your stomach, and clean clothes on your back or being dry with a blanket or coats. A lot of people think of themselves and not the needy that really needs help. These same people help themselves way before anyone else does. I call them fake people. Getting free material almost every day when you go, you say your clean. People live there they should clean that room. People complain that people shopping or go when something is not open. What gives people the right to go through and first choice, when you don’t even need it. But I am on to people, with 6 people I am not going to put their names they help themselves, sells material to a use it again store or people. When it is free, people who need it won’t sell it help themselves who needs it. I call you people down right wrong your putting up a front or lye to yourselves, you act like your cool or for people to like. These same people are rude slobs, inconsiderate people. You’s should come a hour before, or when were there so everyone can look at donate.
