You know what I like about this scene. This is not only a moment that defines Godzillas existence, but also defines the Militarys. His Death is both Sad and yet Bittersweet when you look to see a creature that Represents Japans terrible past, as well its Horrors of Nuclear fallout over its beloved nation. But has also become apart of Japan, its spirit! His Death is as bright as the sun, as he ultimately succumbs to the Radiation hes absorbed! His death roar is sad because hes an animal, a simple creature that was not support to have a place in the world, and yet,,,Japan has Always welcomed him back when another Monster comes to wreck havoc. And even though the Military hated him, they no doubt show compassion as they see the beast suffer, and decide to send him off with Honor as they Blast him to lessen his Nuclear impact! And when he dies, you see how no one is cheering, you only see sad faces in the wake of a Monster that proved to be a Force that NO ONE could stop! A beast..that went through the years unchallenged, only to die in an Ironic twist of fate. Its sad and bittersweet for them. And yet, the moment they see that figure through the Ash cloud, Its form as bright as the Sun. They knew, that his spirit will Never die, for as long as Japan Exists....He will exist. Long live the king.
