You know what I love about life? How much we change as we grow older. In our teens, we are trying to find our niche in life by just surviving high school. In our early twenties, we begin to create our true individuality - no pressures from high school friends or anyone else. Free to make decisions and the people around us are more apt to let us soar. Tons of energy, going out with friends, developing relationships, experiencing life to the fullest. In our thirties, we are more comfortable with our decisions but still challenging, more tolerant and begin to notice that the little things around us are more important than we thought. Now, Im 46. I find solace in the quiet moments, appreciate the little things such as a night with the door open, little or no wind, watching the rain clouds roll over a prairie, the smiles of children and the wonder on their faces. The material things that only matter are a warm home, food on the table and a strong family connection. Im looking forward to what the future holds. #lifeisprecious
