You know what bothers me about the whole debate about feminism and the inherent flaws and missteps of feminists? What bothers me is that we dont do the same the other way around. Who denounced Freud - when he was still around - for his flawed psychoanalysis, purely for its inherent patriarchal bias? And how about all other philosophers, theologians, historians, politicians? We are so very quick to hang women for their flaws, but we celebrate men EVEN when we know fully well that their whole ideology is built around the patriarchal mindset. And we wonder why we cant get rid of patriarchy.
