You know what puzzles me? I came on facebook today and I noticed comments from believers in Christ people who call themselves Christians and noticed how they marveled and praise artist such as Beyonce, Rihanna, J-ZAY and others LIKING there attire, praising the music and the skills they possess and it makes me wonder, these people are not using there gifts for worship nor do we know who they worship? If you are a christian particularly a female why would you emulate the way they dress or even LIKE it, how are you allowing your light to shine when you consume yourselves with the things of this world? Is it that outside of your Christianity you desire to do the same is part of you not satisfied with being different? The word of God says Joshua 24:14-15-“Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve. Do you not remember that the God you serve is a jealous God? John 2:15-16 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. We must be careful in what we allow our spirits to consume. Armor yourselves in the things of the spirit and rid your spirit of temptations. It is not an easy road but you have to repent and ask God each and every day to guide you, to forgive you and to help you to over come the things which are not pleasing to Him, because He wants our all not a portion, not half, not our showers of tears when things go wrong, He wants every inch of us, every day. When our flesh parishes it is the beauty within our spirit that carries us through. Be bless friends.
