You know what really Grinds my Gears -- Sports physicals... in case youve never played a sport, here is a basic what they do you go in, the put a stethoscope on your back and chest, check your lungs, then check your heart rate.. some will make you do other tricks like touch your toes or something, and on some occasions, theyll even press you (down there) and make you cough.. the entire process takes about 5 minutes... i was texting a physician friend, and she says every kid should have a physical or they might take the risk of dying (extreme), its worth the $35-$65 dollars. My question is why would you charge $35-$65 for a process that takes all of 5 minutes... if you know identifying risks is so important. youre not allocating any medication, cutting something open, taking something off... youre charging kids $600 an hr- argh!!! health care professionals are still doing a job, i feel like they should have an obligation to the people theyre helping, why take advantage of people... stupid! okay :EndRant
