You know whats really bothering me? A couple things, actually. 1] Walmart is rolling out medical offices with services performed right there at Walmart. a. I intentionally go to medical professionals who hold fancy degrees. This is, like, MY BODY. Tide, tires, strep check. JUST. NO. b. How much of our lives are the citizens of the US willing to turn over to Big Box America? 2] Media insistence on referring to Robin Williams newest responsibility: Make God laugh. I recognize its lighthearted intent, but this man was the classic representation of tears of a clown. When someone is known for their craft, especially one who entertains, you can feel the pressure to always be on. It was expected of Robin Williams to make people laugh. Thats such an isolating dynamic. He doesnt need to make God laugh. May he rest in peace, free of the expectation to be funny, zany, and an off-the-clock showman.
