You know when I was first married in the 70s the furniture below was some of the examples of that era. I do remember shag carpeting was popular as were colored appliances and Harvest gold and Avocado were two of the favorites. My Mom had white appliances and then we went to colored ones then black and finally stainless steel! So if you believe in cycles then Im sure colored appliances will probably make a comeback! Who doesnt remember floor model televisions? A big floor model said that yes you had made it if you could afford one! Of course lets not forget every mans wish back then and that would be the much loved recliner! Remember this was the 70s and a recliner for the Man of the house meant that he was King of his castle! Now as for TV trays...no home was rarely without them in the seventies, the reason being is that there was usually only one TV so in order to not miss a favorite show the family would eat there dinner on TV trays and of course dinner was lovingly provided by Mom! These were the Good old days
