You know, when we convince we owe everyone an apology to make - TopicsExpress

You know, when we convince we owe everyone an apology to make peace, we become a walking rug that is pitied, never respected. And it is OUR fault for becoming victims and as victims, we give the corrupt power over us. There is a flaw in the pacifist nature of modern Christians. I wholeheartedly acknowledge the concepts of forgiveness, love, kindness and charity, but what point did God say to forsake the REST of His Gospel that speaks of Justice, Law and Punishment? Now it is true we must not be extremists and it is true that some Christians have been almost as bad as Atheists and science-worshippers, some even worse but there is a difference between REINING IN emotions to prevent them from negatively influencing Gods word and cutting out parts to make it more media-friendly. The day we start caring more about how the others view our beliefs rather than following the beliefs themselves is the day we have lost God. For that reason, while I am trying to forgive members of my family, I will still punish them accordingly for their sins towards me, as well as people who consider me their friend. We ARE to love the wretched, give charity to the suffering, forgive those who SEEK it and are struggling with their hardships, we ARE to show love where there is hate and to try and sow peace but peace is NOT submission! We are also to PUNISH those who do wrong, STOP those who seek harm on others and shun those that manipulate the Gospel for their own ends (until they choose to repent). With that in mind, ask yourself: Are you following God or are you listening to people that edit what he says for media and public approval? God isnt much on taking excuses. So answer carefully.
