You know when you go on holiday and then you suddenly find its over already and you dont know where the time went! That is how I feel about my time in Laos. I have spent today in the capital, Vientiane, and it is crazy busy (Ill post a video tomorrow) due to the upcoming annual boat races and festivals. So I will head 20km to the border in the morning and cross the Mighty Mekong river via the friendship bridge to Thailand and stay just on the other side in Nong Khai. I had planned to finish my little piece on my trip through Laos today and also sort out my photos, but happily I ran into my new friends, the Canadian couple, whom I have been fortunate enough to be with for most of my trip in Laos and I spent the afternoon/evening walking, eating and drinking with them. Now my phone is dead and my eyes weighed down with lead. I am sad to be leaving Laos. The people are so nice and friendly, but Thailand is calling me and im every closer to that beach that is waiting for me...
