You know whos running the real, and only, War on Christmas? All the big retailers and advertisers (many of whom are currently pillaging Thanksgiving too). And the people who decorate the pine trees on their lawn in early November. And the radio stations already playing Christmas songs, as my wife Nancy pointed out recently. Nobody loves Christmas songs more than I do, not even Chuck and Mud, but after two months of Christmas promotions and music the actual holiday itself gets smaller and smaller and everything associated with it gets more irritating. I will maintain my love for the Christmas holiday anyway, but I wish I could kick them all collectively in the ass.
