You know why Joker can smile all the time, even when he is in deep grief always and why Batman looks sad even when he is winning over bad? Thats the difference between grief and happiness. Grief is absolute and gives you a secure feeling that there is nothing more to lose. While happiness isnt so, its result of some sacrifice and compromises and you end up without convincing everyone. Happiness is selfish and insecure. Thats why when ever you feel to celebrate, it reminds you the damage you created, but grief is too personal and nothing is so pure as its there.
