You know (yep..its time).....People get so upset and in some cases...downright nasty when it comes to competition in business. Im not really sure why. Maybe its insecurity....maybe its a deep seeded jealousy....some people copy ideas that have already been done and some people even spend their entire days trying to bring down their competitors. Theres no need for this. We all bring something different to the industries we work in and thats what makes it sooo exciting to be in business. Competition is healthy...it keeps us on our toes, drives new ideas, keeps prices competitive and gives everyone options. This is the beauty of living in this amazing country...we have options. Yes, I know...we all want to make money....thats why we are in business...but there really is enough to go around. Imagine this....only 1 brand of bread, 1 brand of milk, one entertainment company....all offering only 1 type of product or service. Hmmm...sounds almost communist doesnt it? Take a look around the shops and in the yellow pages....variety is the spice of our existence and colours our lives with choices. Yes, we do need to know what our competitors are doing but we need to make sure we spend time developing your own business and products to offer the best we can to our consumers, rather than working on bringing down others. Let the choices flow freely and the competition begin
