You know youre back in NYC when you witness a subway worker yelling at a passenger because it was her first time riding and she had no idea how to buy a pass and go through the turnstiles ... and another lady telling an elevator line-skipping man (in no uncertain terms) he just pulled an unacceptable stunt and then all of them shoving into our small elevator while my kids said Mom, its too crowded, and I suggested that we all be kind to each other and breathe deeply. You also know you are back in NYC when you see every culture in the world represented within a few block radius ... and know that anything is possible here, anything (well, except quiet!). This former Manhattanite turned country girl needs a nap :) The concrete jungle is wild!
