You know youre covered and appreciated unconditionally when: you cook a very lousy meal for your spouse who..well.. has been a prof chef for many years now.. He has a remarkable reputation. Hes an amazing cook! But he has never made you feel any less of a woman.. Or threw his tittle in your face. With all the items on the recipe measured wrong, some even absent.. resulting in the end product (the meal you prepared) being unpalatable. But instead of criticizing/ bashing you or exposing how you cant cook.. He thanks you for the meal, even starts telling you how much you mean to him and how blessed he is to be called your headship. He quietly eats a couple of spoons, and washes them down with a drink.. Claiming hes full & had a wonderful meal. Lol. He goes on to even help you with the dishes that night.. :) He doesnt run off to his friends or his momma and sisters to tell them how horrible your cooking is.. The following morning he pulls a few strings and in a few weeks, he comes home from work and tells you the company he works for is sponsoring 2 weeks worth of COOKING LESSONS for 3 couples at some resort.. And two of your friends and their partners have already agreed. He tells you how therell be a prize for the best cooking couple. Without pausing to consider anything, you trust your man.. And you know he always has your best interest at heart, he could never be out to get you.. To hurt you. You get excited and call your girls so yall could talk about how this is gon be fun.. Unfortunately the two of you dont win the best cooking couple award but fortunate for your man... His woman has now acquired pretty good cooking skills.. And only then, one time he confesses.
