You like hearing about how I enjoyed my day, friends? Cause I really did enjoy this lazy Sunday. First I found me a sun puddle in the cat room. When the sun shines in the summer, theres sun puddles all over the house. But in the winter we hardly have sun puddles inside. Today we had one and I found it! When the sun was gone again, I came downstairs and played with Herman a bit, but watched him play by himself too. Normally I watch Herman play from a (safe) distance, but now I did it up close. He played with the play circuit, the thing I got for my birthday, but never really understood. Dushi understands it and showed me often how it works, but I think I enjoy watching her or Herman do it more. Today I sat next to Herman and watched how he made the little ball move. That was fun! When I played with Herman, the human saw me initiate it a couple of times! Usually Herman does that, and hes not used to me doing it. That made it even more fun to do. When the human cooked her food and came out of the kitchen with it, I couldnt help but noticing the smell of cheese. She obviously used cheese in her food. I begged and begged and begged, and when she was done eating, she left a little bit in her food bowl and I got to lick it! That was yummy stuff she made there! I hope hes not copying it from Dushi, but Herman starts meowing more. The human says he doesnt really sound like a cat yet, but more like a mouse. He squeaks more than he meows. Unless he does it in her ear, he cant squeak the human awake yet. The human understands most of Dushis meows, but Hermans not yet. Herman was a good boy today. He let me relax and nap when I retreated upstairs, and was sweet to me when I was downstairs again. For a short while we snuggled in the hammock together and I made sure he was clean everywhere. The rest of the time he either napped on the top level of the hammock, or he played. Dushi meowed a lot the first half of the day, but when the human did not let her out, she got all snuggly and cuddly. She got and enjoyed a looooong belly rub too. The human says its a miracle theres still fur on her belly! Tomorrow is her day again and she can go to work then again. I hope shell keep quiet tonight. Jinx enjoyed the weather today. He spent some time on his apartment, and some time in the kitchen, but when the sun still shone, he was outside and moved along with the sun puddles. He ate all of his breakfast, so the food the human gave him this morning is a good one. But its still not a very cheap one, so the human will go on experimenting with cheaper brands. But if he wont eat any of those well enough, she can give him what he had today. Hell get it this evening too, cause the human doesnt have other ones yet. Jinx obviously agreed with me about the humans food smelling good, cause when she was cooking, he joined her in the kitchen. I did that often too when I still lived outside and the human always appreciated the company. I always got something yummy then, and so did Jinx today. So what can I say? I love lazy Sundays and I really enjoyed this one! And Im not done yet, cause the human says shes not gonna move from the couch anymore this evening until the darts finals are done, and that wont be for a while yet. Shes done with reorganizing her second external drive and shes gonna pour herself a glass of wine now. I hope shell drink a couple of them, cause when she does, she gets even more cuddly than usual.
