You may be a regular visitor to Pilgrims but have you visited Alanglade House, a mine managers residence built in 1916? The following review was found on the web: Every history lovers dream. A true mansion! The house reflected a lot of old artifacts, each room displays the true way they used to live in the early 1900s. Very interesting and gorgeous house. Our tour guide were very informative and friendly as well as patient!! We had a million and one questions and she answered each and every one. Guided tours only - visit the Information Centre to book a tour.
