You may be asking yourself What is different about Absurdia? Is it just another weekend of over saturated bass music bookings in the mountains with a bunch of people making a huge mess? If thats what you are looking for, you wont find it here.. Were doing things a bit different. Well have many different genres represented on 2 stages. Interactive activities, art and games. One of my personal favorites is our Listening Party, where anyone can bring music to hear on the main stage sound system. This is not open decks, but a chance for anyone to hear whatever they want on a large rig. Could be your latest production. Could be Metallica or 5 minutes of fart noises.. While we will have thorough representation from many of the local bad asses in Colorado, we are also stacking the lineup with a bunch of fresh talent that has never played in Colorado. If you were hoping to hear that Gold Dust remix another 100 times, youre out of luck. Stay tuned for further details. Well be releasing the lineup, tickets and location very soon.
