You may be convinced you need to do a thing, and you set your word to it. Then God approaches and says, I will do this thing, forget that which you were going to do. You may say Father, but I gave my word. To which He will reply, whos word is greater, and whos name shall be glorified. If you do not step down your work shall not endure, but if you bow before His will the word of God endures forever. For if God is not behind you pushing you forward, and in front of you glorifying Himself, your lot will fall with the glory of man, rather than the glory of God. If we let Christ out in front and He returns and moves us forward and we will not budge, no work shall be started. The we leave the will of God undone in us. Therefore whether I do a work or dont do a work, let God be in it all for His glory.
