You may be hurting now, but on the other side of this you will be helping the hurting. Your suffering is not in vain. Your pain is producing purpose. My first husband was unfaithful many times during our marriage and it caused me a great deal of pain, I use to ask God when will this be over? When will the pain cease? Three years later, still separated and things getting worse even though I prayed several times a day for Gods perfect will to be done in my life. It felt like my world was falling apart. I grew closer to the Lord and found great comfort in Gods presence and in His word. I spent a lot of time praying, listening to spiritual teachings, reading Gods word and reading material and spiritual books on relationships, prayer, etc.. And as I was going through one of the hardest times in my life, God began to strengthen me and open up doors for me to counsel and minister to others. God told me many times that this hardship shall pass, and eventually it did! I am now on the other side of the pain, distress, and humiliation that Ive experienced in my first marriage, and I am also helping others grow strong in the Lord. God was birthing a ministry through me, and at first I didnt even know it. I just wanted the emotional pain to cease and for my life to return to what it use to be before all of the betrayals, lies, and affairs, but that never happened. My first husband divorced me and God sent me a prayer partner who became my best friend and eventually my husband - my double for my troubles. God will birth kingdom purpose through your pain, if you run to Him and not away from Him. You will come out of those challenging times - better not bitter, more compassionate, wiser, more refined, and humble. You will also help encourage others through their challenging times. Your suffering is not in vain!!! After youve been strengthen, go and encourage and help strengthen your brethren ♥
