You may have heard, AFSCME Council 31 members that work for Will County government are on strike since yesterday. First, sign the petition at afscme31.org/willcounty. If you have members, family, friends who live in Will County, urge them to call the office of County Chief Executive Larry Walsh and their county board members to tell them they support Will County employees in their effort to achieve a fair contract. You can also make a special contribution to the Council 31 Solidarity Fund that will be used to help sustain the strikers.
