You may have noticed our unusual window display at the moment. Wed like to take a moment to tell you what its all about. On Saturday 13th of September, one of our lovely brides, Natasha, married the man of her dreams, James, at Church In The Wood. Natasha wore this beautiful dress, named Sisi, purchased here at Bustles and Bows. Needless to say it was the happiest day of their lives. That is until after the ceremony, when their beautiful 9 1/2 month old baby girl Elsie-Rose had to be rushed to The Conquest Hospital after suddenly falling ill. Natasha, and her dress, spent the rest of the evening in A&E and missed her entire wedding reception. 2 weeks later, on September 26th, Elsie-Rose was diagnosed with an extremely rare terminal genetic condition, spinal muscular atrophy type 1, which affects 1 in every 6000 babies. Doctors estimate Elsie-Rose has just 6 months to live. This news has devastated the entire family. James and Natasha are heartbroken, and they wish to do everything in their power to give Elsie-Rose as full and rich a life as they can in the precious time they will share together. With this in mind, the family is now raising funds for Elsie-Rose. Here at Bustles and Bows we want to do everything we can to help, and so we have lovingly cleaned Natasha’s dress, and have taken it here in store in an attempt to sell the dress on Natasha’s behalf. Every single penny paid for this dress will go straight to Elsie-Rose, so if you know someone looking for a stunningly beautiful dress, at an incredible half it’s original price, that is in fantastic condition, and will go to help a more than worthy cause, then please send them our way. If you aren’t getting married, but you still wish to help, you can donate to Elsie-Rose via her paypal account with this email Elsie-rosenugent-fightforSMA@hotmail, you can sponsor her aunts run at gofundme/glm6pg or you can help spread the word about dress here in store. You can follow Elsie’s story here: facebook/smatype1 Thanks for your time.
