You may not like this post or agree with it. Ive thought long and hard about whether or not I should even post it. Im at the point where I just cant keep my mouth shut. Last week there was a passive aggressive post made about me. Nobody knew who this person was talking about, but I did. Last weekend was really hard and it stayed with me into the week, which really needed to be the last thing I needed to worry about. I was finishing the last of the details of the signing and I certainly didnt need the added stress. It was an ugly post where people were unknowingly threatening to slit my throat for this person. In lieu of the Sarah Daltry post I decided that I couldnt stay quiet anymore. I DO NOT have suicidal thoughts and Im a very happy person. However, I am human and words hurt, especially when people are offering to off me. My point in posting this, is that nobody knew who she was talking about and several of my FB friends were commenting. Please remember that when you respond to a post, you dont know the situation. Be careful of what you say and how you say things. My close friends were quick to stand up and my husband knew and was extremely upset. What if it wasnt me that this post was about? What if it had been about someone that emotionally couldnt have handled it? Watch what you say and how you comment. You never know the entire story. I will be taking a HUGE hiatus off of FB. I have books to write and had to put my writing on hold to organize the signing. I have wonderful friends and what you see with me is what you get. Im the same me off of FB. I care about people and I care about their feelings. I want everyone to be happy and to get along. I know thats a lot to ask. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Its the only way to be.
