You may or may not have had any control over what happened to you in life. But you have all the control in the world over how you choose to respond to it. Life happens. It happens to us all. Some people seemed to have their lives made from birth: well-to-do do parents, nice home situation, college and a gravy career. For others the cards seemed stacked against them at birth: dysfunctional family. Born and raised in the hood. Perhaps a victim of their surroundings, or molestation as a child. Maybe even rape. When life seems to take a massive dump on you, use it as fertilizer for greater, more stupendous growth. Youre like a flower in Gods garden. He knows all about you and your situation. Hes even numbered every hair on your head. And guess what: He cares! God didnt cause bad things to happen to you: so you can stop blaming Him for your misfortunes. But if youll be honest with yourself: He did cause you to grow through it, in spite of. Whatever you go through in life, you tend to grow through in life. And thats not by accident. Its due to Gods ultimate purpose, love and His plan for you. It always gets better, if you expect it to. But always in Gods perfect timing. And those people who look like they got it made in life: looks can be deceiving. Youll be surprised at how many of them are dang near suicidal from dealing with their own inner turmoil. Problems aint prejudiced and they dont discriminate. We all have to suffer our fair share of them. Thats how we ultimately grow. So whatever your situation is: dont give up. Dont despair. Trust God with your whole heart, and dont allow problems to keep you from seeing the sun rising just over the horizon. The dawn always comes for those who wait to see it. God bless.
