You may remember me saying that I’d arranged a blind date for Food Slave. Well she thwarted that plan by arranging her train journey for today so I had the unenviable task of having to make contact to postpone the event. The gentleman in question took it quite well and was happy to rearrange for the weekend. I have to say that he appears to be a nice chap and I could see a lot of similarities in our thinking. So all that’s left for me to do is to quickly organise a vat of rejuvenating cream for Food Slave and hope it does the trick. Actually, anything would be an improvement and if all else fails I suppose she could always wear a mask. It’s funny how appearance seems to matter to Food Slaves. You’d think that a kind disposition and pleasing character would be more important. Although come to think of it, in Food Slave’s case, she’s on a sticky wicket either way. Anyway. Off to await madam’s return as I could do with a prawn just about now.
