You might have understood Im a little obsessed by new coffee shops opening in Paris! So when I heard about Matamata in the Montorgueil neighbourhood I immediately decided to head there for my coffee date last Saturday. Small yet absolutely charming, wooden decor such as you would imagine for a coffee shop such as this one, a delicious and dreamlike smell of cinnamon and a big smile to welcome you. What else would you be expect for a weekend afternoon! We were there for coffee and didnt have much of an appetite but I have to admit it was a little difficult resisting the very temping carrot cake, cookies and even beautiful and freshly prepared bruschetta and salad that some of our neighbourhood were eating!
