You might remember a while back Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini WHIO TV and I wearing purple in support of our former co-worker and friend. Im sad to say Don has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. But that loss in no way diminishes the fight he gave. Cancer unfortunately seems to affect all of us in one way or another, I guess all we can hope for is that one day doctors and researchers will find a cure. And we can always remember people like Don, for fighting with grace and dignity, despite the odds.
