You must learn to let go in order to be free..... but when it comes to relation-ships this is good to be taken into consideration: "Without attachment, there would be no Universe...Look at all the attachments on the atomic and sub-atomic scale of particles...Attachment does not mean "frozen in stone forever"...electrons are "attached" to protons to form ordinary matter, but they are free to leave for an equivalent experience elsewhere. When we love a person in a committed sense, it does not mean that we are in a prison and limited to our true potential, because when there is full cooperation in the relationship, both parties are free to be open with others, yet remain "attached" in the sense of putting their primary relationship as first priority...to retain for the enhancement of growth for both partners...I see that as a very beneficial open type relationship that works well when all parties fully cooperate and think of not just their own personal well-being, but also the well-being of the entire relationship..."
