You must read this!So a couple of days ago I had an interesting whatsapp chat with a youth pastor friend of mine from kingdom of far far away.We were talking about worship and repentance.I happened to say to him that true worship begins with repentance,that we ought to die to self daily which he didnt seem to agree with me,he said he would study and give me his arguments afterwards.In the wee hours of this morning I woke up to a long whatsapp message,and he said to me Changu,we are the righteousness of God,God has not imputed sin into us.Because we are righteous we are. Justified.righteousness is justification.You need to understand what righteousness is Changu....now when we spoke about prayer and repentance,I asked him to also look at the parable of the pharisee and tax collector so as to learn how to approach the Lord in prayer...his reply after studying it?the tax collector wasnt saved,was a sinner and he wasnt a child of God.Me?traumatised!I realised this was another case of once saved always saved talk!Do you know you can be born again and headed straight to hell?I Said to him. The apostle Paul clearly tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling!We ought to learn and understand the mystery of living a lifestyle of repentance and dying to self daily...I woke up and I was troubled and then my Teacher said, when you talk with him later in the day,ask him if he took a bath today?His answer wil be yes.Ask him whether after his bath he wore clean or dirty clothes?his answer will be clean clothes.Ask him ,why he didnt just pick dirty clothes and wear them?his answer will be,he had just taken a bath,he cant wear dirty clothes and cant go out in public in dirty clothing.Then ask him ,does he not know that bathing bodies and washing of our dirty clothing,and putting on clean garments is a lesson on how we ought to live our spiritual lives.If you cant go out naked nor dirty nor put on dirty clothing because you worried about what people around you will think,what makes you think you can go with a rotten spirit,naked or in filthy garments before a Holy God ?....I couldnt go back to sleep after that conversation!
