You need to become self-employed right now so you can work hard at yourself, because you are your No. 1 job. If you get better, things will. But you cant become that, except you first take the job of working at yourself. Everyone is a talent and have great abilities within. However, A big ability without a good sense of resposibility, naturally becomes a big liability. Stephen King has this to say, Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one, is a lot of hardwork. Friends, not just hardwork, but INTELLIGENT HARDWORK.
