You never know where you might find a cool Journal: A couple weeks ago I was wandering around Barnes and Noble in the childrens book section, when I spotted this red leather journal beneath a dragon puppet. I picked it up, knowing it was the right one for journaling my next writing project. Normally I carry around a simple journal in my purse to record information, lists, impressions and synchronicities of the day. In addition I record my dreams into a separate journal file on my computer and in another file titled Reflections I type morning pages. My dream journal provides me with valuable personal insight, ideas for problem solving, and inspiration for creative endeavors....that include poetry, essays, fanciful tales, research leads, and visions for photos. So recording my dreams is a journal priority, and it doesnt take much time for those with busy schedules. Join the next class meeting of Introduction to Active Dreaming at the Playful Soul on Monday, April 7 at 7 PM and learn methods for keeping a dream journal. We will also explore the Gifts of Active Dreaming and share our dreams using the Lightning Dreamwork Process. Oh...and this beautiful red journal was on sale at $5.00. I think I might go back for the dragon puppet.
