You probably think this post will be about flowers. No. Last night we celebrated Thanksgiving [and why have we never imported this lovely American custom and plumped for tacky, awful Halloween instead?] Seven of us sat down to turkey and cranberry sauce [the boy joined us via Skype and we taunted the screen with bits of Yorkshire pud] and we had a fun, happy time. So much to be thankful for. It was also an early Christmas celebration because we cant all be together on 25th December and Mr H and I got a calender as an early present. . . . Our daft/wonderful foursome have recreated 12 scenes from childhood photos: dressed in replica outfits: held the same poses: tried for the same expressions. It is perfect beyond words. . . . but, I like to think I know everything that goes on here. How did they borrow my clothes; sleep in our bed; don wedding dresses; pinch my bike and all the rest without me suspecting a thing?? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
