You really do have to give credit to how Valve has worked the CS:GO economy. Due to the trade up contract changes every skin has a decent value on the market, even the really bad ones. I think they missed a trick with some of the collections though. For example the Lake collection has nothing valuable to rank up to creating a bunch of unwanted and neglected skins. Its like this for a number of the collections as well. They should always have something decent at the top tier of the collection as its value trickles down right to those shitty skins that you get dropped in-game! I think this is the reason why when you look at Dota 2 items there are SO MANY shitty cheap skins that people have that are worth literally NOTHING. For CS:GO Valve have come up with a use for the shitty skins making them far more valuable and therefore a more profitable game Steam market wise. :) What do you guys think? Im just doing a bunch of the trade up contracts and thought Id share my thoughts.
