You should be curious and concerned about where your meat’s - TopicsExpress

You should be curious and concerned about where your meat’s been. Much of the meat you consume that comes from the bigger chain stores is purchased at bottom dollar prices. Bottom dollar prices mean factory farmed animals that have been pumped full of growth hormones (for the most meat per pound) and antibiotics (to combat the disease-ridden bodies and environments). We unknowingly and carelessly put poison into the bodies of our families. The animals are fed non-food products and waste along with their regimen of genetically modified (GMO) corn feed to cut down on costs. Most of the factory farmed animals never see the light of day, much less grass or fresh air. They live packed like sardines, standing upon concrete and marinating in their own feces. Most factory farmed animals suffer inhumane abuse that would even weaken the strongest of stomachs. Some animals aren’t killed “properly” or at all, before being strung up with chains by their legs in midair, defecating below them and all over themselves while they die slowly in agony. - See more at: ecccornerstone/opinion/2012/03/09/know-where-your-meats-been/#sthash.nUoCX69Z.dpuf
