You should cautiously stand as to not spread glass or lose pieces. You should then instruct everyone to be still everyone be calm and stay still, during this moment of informative instruction you get the attention of the teacher or instructor and inform them of the breakage on the floor or the table Instructor i have clumsily shattered a glass object in which i was experimenting with. The teacher will then acknowledge your existence and err and either give you permission to clean the mess yourself or they will accomplish the task. The instructor or yourself will equip gloves that are thickened and fit nicely, and then they will continue on their way to retrieve the proper cleaning tools. In this case we will require a broom and dustpan. You or the teacher will return and gather the accumulated mass of broken glass into the tray with the sweeping motion in the are of the accident. You will then bring the glass to its designated container ignoring the existence of the garbage can, sink, or they chemical waste disposal container.after this is accomplished you or the teacher may wash their hands to be sure there is no glass or chemicals on yourself or herself and or himself. Then you may return to your experiment under the instructors orders or just observe as the rest of the class resumes their experiments.
