You thought you could go a week without one of my Crankyrants (TM)? Forget it. Heres my pet peeve for today: WTF is it with all these stories that say stuff like You wont believe what happened next! or What happens then will give you goosebumps. or What he did then will make you cry/gasp/laugh/whatever! Isnt it enough to say, This is an inspiring story. or We thought this was amusing, we hope you will too. Why does everything have to be so fakey shocking? Is everyone so desperate for attention that they have to do the written equivalent of waving their arms and shouting LOOK AT ME!!!! Im tired of crap that begs shamelessly for attention. As far as Im concerned these stories belong in the Share if you ______ pile of Never Ever Sharing. Ever.
