You visit a pub, office, online forum, or go to a party somewhere with lots of interesting people. Or maybe you have been invited to participate in a discussion on radio or television over a particular issue. Maybe you are at a meeting where the goal is to exchange ideas with different people and challenge each other with regards to certain issues. You encounter someone who does not agree with your views. You have reasons to believe you are right, and that the other person is wrong. The other person feels exactly the same way, and thinks YOU are wrong. debate The good thing is, that person is willing to sit down and have a discussion or engage in a debate about this with you.
