You wake up on Sunday morning to the sound of the Naches River and birds singing in the trees. What a night... You smirk... You want coffee. Then, you hear an angelic, spiritual, crystal sound coming from the festival grounds. Good morning. This is our friends The Wicks. With Heart, Soul, and Vocal Thunder, The Wicks hold nothing back! The Wicks are best described as a Folk act with a lot of Soul/R&B. You might hear stage stomping, you might see bottleneck slides and mandolins, but you’ll always hear and feel the Soul! Pauline tells timeless stories with bold vocal melodies that cut to the core as she holds down a booming beat with her feet as Jedidiah strums by her side inspiring your hands and feet to move to The Wicks infectious rhythms. In Spring 2014 The Wicks made a musical migration, touring from their PNW homeland to the heartland where their music will put down roots. Get ready to move and be moved because The Wicks powerful presence will ignite any stage! CF Tip: It’s hard not to be affected by Pauline Wick’s voice and songwriting. Last year, The Wicks opened the festival on Sunday morning. It was such a special part of the festival that we just couldn’t imagine doing it any differently this year. vimeo/90574910
