You want to know what sucks? Being put at a higher standard than everyone else, and being expected to perpetually live up to it. No matter what the standards are, they say Youre so much better than that, and youre left with a feeling of shame for being just average as if thats a disease. Or We all expect so much more from you, Every aspect of life is controlled by that fear that youll disappoint everyone, while their standards just continue to get higher and higher, and just keep missing the mark, craving to for once hear, Good job, I can tell youve been working on it. Instead all you get is critique and shaming. Anybody else know that feel? :/
