You were like my mother You were my Bestfriend You were everything I want to be and all the good inside of me theres never been. Never been another that loved me like you did My Grandmother, my angel. Today heaven gained a beautiful angel. I know many people dont get to say they got to know their great grandmother but I was lucky enough to not just know her but be raised by her. She raised her 5 kids 2 grandkids and her first great grand kid (me). From the day I was born she always took care of me. She always watched out for me and put me before herself. I know shell be watching over me in heaven just as she did here. She taught me so many things that I will forever be thankful for. These past few months especially to these last few weeks and days, Ive seen my great grandma struggle and it hurt to see her like that, it hurt to see the strongest woman I know cry when I was talking to her because she didnt wanna leave me and my family, but I knew I couldnt be selfish because it wasnt fair to her so I told her I would be okay. And To know now that shes gone is heart breaking but I know shes in a much better place and finally at peace with her grandmother and mother and brother. When her brother passed away she told me Ill see him again one day and now Im telling myself Ill see her again one day. The song my angel is a perfect song because ever since I was a kid she always said that when I was asleep I would smile all the time and that meant the Angels were playing with me so she called me her angel. Well now I get to call her my angel because thats exactly what she is... My Angel I love you Mimi and I promise you I will keep those last promises I made you. ❤️
