You won’t hear about softness enough how it’s allowed, how sometimes it’s beautiful they won’t tell you that when they peel back the skin of your ribcage the pink of your soft is the most beautiful thing they’ve ever seen it’s okay for you to stroke their hair and whisper ‘sorry’ at their shock just because you are gentle does not mean you are weak and even the sky touches the ocean carefully at dawn like cradling a robin’s egg between two shaky hands and you can unlace and wind yourself open for anyone who looks at you with joy in their eyes but no one will tell you how it’s okay to be vulnerable, how it means that you are so much more like the sky right before the light.* -Azra.T “when you are neither glass nor stone but petal” .
