Waiting for a Message Waiting for a message that perhaps will never come. Writing of your living and the things that you have done. Answer all the questions that may never have been asked. Waiting for the moment that may never come to pass. Crafting every word with the fire of your breath. Writing every sentence that your mind has laid to rest. Putting in the commas that will organize your thoughts. Hoping to express again the meaning that youve sought. An envelope of thinking now awaits your hungry eyes. Reading what is written in this innocent reply. Looking for the message that youve waited to receive. Hoping for a magic word that longs to be retrieved. Every line dissected to be answered from the heart. Navigating feelings that youve written on the chart. Prying open boxes that are holding hopes and dreams. Writing other words that may express the thoughts you mean. Waiting still to read the words that never have been said. Looking for the message in the many words youve read.
