Youd THINK that after having been married to ME for over 40 years that my Capt would no longer question seemingly nutty things that I do...for instance, he came into the house the other day and asked why there is a brick in the mailbox? Well, thats because I have short arms and if the brick is in there, the mail doesnt go all the way to the back of the box!! Then he wanted to know why there is a brick in the tank of our toilet. Silly Captain, dont you know that if you put one in an old toilet tank, the brick displaces lots of water, so you dont use as much water when you flush! Eyes rolling at this point...so he just walks away shaking his head. Says Im just like my Daddy, Charlie Tubbs!! So, then, what does he do? His little toe is hurting him anytime he puts on a shoe, so instead of finally going to a podiatrist to find out the problem, he CUTS A HOLE in an old pair of shoes to give his toe some relief! If thats not a CHARLIE TUBBS thing I dont know what is!!!! Mercy!!!
