Youll know when Ive not been working or socialising when Im posting videos on enlightenment and the humility of humanity wishing that my friends who are scattered around the world from all the international schools and now still somewhere awesome in the world were chillin and having a good time. They arent with me, but theyre in my head. I think about them and I think about the possible advice theyd give me at a time of need or company. I laugh more intensely when I can imagine them laughing with me. I smile or frown and nod when I know they can empathise. Were listening to the same music and reading the same books, trolling the interwebz and being voyeurs at the food court, partying in the desert, helping me up after rag dolling a snow slope, or drinking and singing along to the karaoke machine; debating and discussing the meaning of art and what it is to be human; planning to overthrow government by empowering farmers etc. feeling good about ourselves because were making each other feel good about what were doing, enjoying it and doing good for those in need. Almost forgetting whats wrong with the world because you and I and our laughter is the only thing that exists in the whole universe of moments. These are precious. This is what I live for. But like the time we take from work and education or serving the system, a holiday AWAY from it all is the same thing. Life is a long ass holiday. Until we meet again, I wish you a life of laughter, love and no suffering.
