Youll never guess where I am! Thats right, St Vincents Hospital in Darlinghurst. My breast wound infection went crazy and didnt respond fast enough to the new antibiotics, so Geoff OConnor in Dubbo spoke to Fred Clarke in Sydney yesterday afternoon and here I am for a dose of intravenous antibiotics to clear it all up quickly. Ive been here since 11.30 and am still in emergency waiting for a bed, but the would has already been debrided and theres a little hole thats been packed and dressed. Will have to wait a few days to see whether they do a skin graft in a few days or let it heal itself. Its amazing how quickly things come together when everyone works together as a part of a team. Ive had so much help from amazing friends like Mel who will watch Coop when Kim goes to Valla for his mums funeral in Dorrigo on Monday. Thanks also to Sue for driving me to the doctors yesterday, and the airport this morning because both our cars are in getting fixed and the parts havent arrived. Other good friends like Joanne, Nicole, Jeanette, Karen, Jodi, Joanne, Kerrieanne , Sally & Be, with Nick and Patrick in Sydney offering to help. Everyone sending positive energy and messages of support and love. The Universe has been throwing Kim and I a few curve balls lately to see if we are good at juggling while riding a roller coaster. But the good thing is Ive always been a bit of a clown, and even Kim is thinking about getting a red nose! One day at a time, together we are unstoppable, and getting stronger every day. Keeping all the balls in the air is a challenge at times, but we are going to have a lot of job offers from the circus once were done. Have a happy day guys, and dont let the little things drive you nuts. Tomorrow is a new day, and in a year all these things will be a part of you past, that helped you to become more of who you are meant to be! ❤️❤️❤️
