Youll probably think Im crazy, but- Theres 38 million people in California. Say 19 million are men. Toilets prior to 1992 used anywhere from 3.5-7 gallons of water PER FLUSH. Post 1992, up to 1.5. If half the men in California (discretely) urinated outside twice a day instead of flushing we could save a minimum of 40 million gallons of water (10 million men x 2 gals per flush x twice day=40 mil) PER DAY. The ultimate recycling. God made urine good for plants. Just sayin- pee on a plant or dont flush for pee. Toilet flushes accoutn for an avg of 20% of what a household uses water for.
