Young and newly-qualified drivers should be subject to a driving curfew, and be banned from carrying passengers aged between 15 and 24 for the first few months of their licence, according to a new report. The recommendations come as figures reveal up to a sixth of all major crashes on Midland roads - ie those where someone is killed or seriously injured - involve drivers aged between 17 and 19. Thats despite them making up just 1.5 per cent of the number of drivers overall. What do you think? Are restrictions a good idea?
